Homestead is a short distance from Communities including Squirrel Hill, Oakland, Shadyside, South Side and downtown Pittsburgh. It’s a small 0.6 square mile town filled with recreation and culture. The Great Allegheny Passage Bike Trail passes through Homestead for our resident hikers and bikers on the banks on the Monongahela River.

The Steel Valley Trail is found next to Eat n’ Park, along Waterfront Drive. Steel Valley Trail takes bikers and hikers down a trail that was once dominated by the most famous steel mills in America.
